We are working to secure another new flying field in the New Milford area. The current field located at the Pickett District Ball Fields will continue to be available throughout the Winter and Summer but soon we will have access to a new field located near Candlelight Farms Airport. There are still some issues that need to be addressed but everything should be resolved by the time Summer flying begins. We are planning on hosting 3 events next season: another "Airshow / Demo", a "Fun-Fly" and a "Kid's Day" event. Everything is still in the preliminary stages at this point but we'll work things out at the winter meetings. These are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30PM in the Crown Court Condo Complex Rec. room. Don't forget, the field is open all Winter so pack up your airplanes and some hot chocolate and head out for some fun! Minutes from the December 2007 meeting |
